Pizza with bacon, chicken and onion confit

Ingredients

Onion confit:

  • 1 big red onion
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Pizza :

  • 1 Mozarella ball (about 230g, sliced)

  • 1 cup of cooked chicken (To taste… or more if you like chicken, can be replaced by another meat that goes well with sweet.)

  • 4 naan breads (or thin pizza dough)

  • 6-8 slices of bacon, cooked and cut into large pieces

Preparation

Onion confit:

  • Cut the onion into thin slices
  • Sauté the onion in butter for 1 or 2 minutes
  • Add the remaining ingredients and boil for about 45 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

Pizza:

  • Put the oven at 400 °F (200 °C)
  • Put about 4-5 tbsp. of red onion confit on each naan bread
  • Pre-mix chicken and bacon in a dish and spread over the 4 naan breads
  • Spread the cheese over the 4 breads
  • Place the “pizzas” on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.

All you have to do is enjoy!
