Spinach, artichoke and bacon dip

Ingredients

  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (4 slices in mixture and 4 slices for decoration)
  • 150g spinach, washed
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¾ cup Jalapeño Monterey Jack, grated
  • 1 C. tablespoon hot sauce of your choice
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can (398 ml) artichoke hearts, drained
  • 4 green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place the spinach in a bowl with cold water. Drain and chop
    roughly.
  2. In a food processor, add all the ingredients and mix for a few seconds. To avoid getting a puree texture, do not overmix.
  3. Spoon the mixture into an ovenproof serving bowl.
  4. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
  5. Leave to cool for a few minutes, garnish with crumbled bacon and serve. We you suggest serving this dish with toasted bread croutons, corn chips or raw vegetables.
