Grillades | Recette | F. Ménard

Ingredients

  • 1 package of F. Ménard pork – Grillades
  • 1 jar of F. Ménard pork seasoning
  • 48 wooden skewer

Honey mustard sauce

  • 2 tbsp. Old  Style Mustard
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 3 tbsp. local honey
  • 2 tbsp. chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • Ground pepper and salt

Preparation

Mix all the sauce ingredients well and reserve. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Cut the “grillades” slices in 2 and arrange them to form an accordion on the wooden skewers. Place on a plate and season on both sides with F. Ménard pork seasoning.

The traditional way of grilling the “grillades” is on a cast iron plate, placed on the barbecue. If you do not have one, preheat your barbecue to maximum for at least 10-15 minutes or until it reaches its maximum temperature. Close a burner and place the “grillades” on the grill, close the lid and bake in indirect cooking for 5 to 10 minutes or until grilled on both sides. Turn halfway through cooking.

Place in a large plate and serve with honey mustard sauce. A real treat!
