  • 4 c. romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese, grated
  • Croutons, to taste
  • Homemade or commercial Caesar salad dressing, to taste
  • Ground pepper, to taste

Preparation

Place the ​​bacon steak slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put in preheated oven at 450 °F for 20 to 25 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.

When taking out of the oven, immediately pour lemon juice over the slices of bacon steak and sprinkle with lemon zest. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Serve a slice of bacon steak per person using Caesar sauce as a dip to make appetizers or serve as a starter with a Caesar salad.
