Brussels Sprouts Cheese and Bacon Canapés

Ingredients

  • 6 slices cooked bacon, coarsely crumbled
  • 250 g Brussels sprouts, chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ cup grated extra sharp cheddar
  • About 12-14 slices Parisian bread
  • Pepper to taste

 

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, mayonnaise, cheese, bacon
  2. and pepper.
  3. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  5. On a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, place the bread slices and top them with the mixture.  
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  7. Let cool a few minutes and serve!
