Glazed bacon with pepper and balsamic




  • 8 à 10 slices


  • 1 package of  F. Ménard sliced bacon with pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar reduction
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar


Mix the vinegar reduction and the brown sugar. Reserve.

Place a baking rack on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Oil the baking rack.

Brush with a third of the balsamic mixture. Put in preheated oven at 375 °F, for 10 minutes.

Take out of the oven, turn the bacon slices, brush with the remaining balsamic mixture and put back in the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes or until the bacon slices are well caramelized and golden brown.

Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

If prepared in advance, reheat in the oven 5 minutes before serving.
