Bacon stick

Ingredients

  • 1 package  (375 g) F. Ménard bacon steak
  • 85 g Toblerone chocolate (about 2 triangles)
  • 2 tbsp. Quebec maple butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Cut the bacon steak into small strips. This way they cook faster and the strips will hold together better.  
  3. Bake for about 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  6. Soften the maple butter for a few seconds in the microwave.
  7. Don’t overheat or it will become too liquidy.  
  8. Dip bacon in the chocolate and/or maple butter.
  9. Place bacon strips in refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up the chocolate and/or maple butter.
  10. Enjoy!
